Most often you miss out on a job, an educational course, a trip overseas, a promotion , a marriage, an appraisal & what not !
May be you think you deserve it more than many of the people or may be you are the best person to deserve it, but don`t let your happiness be spoiled because of any lost opportunity or because you think your boss or someone has wrongly favoured another person.
There is more happiness in being content with what you have than cribbing about any lost chance or thinking about any imaginary things that could have happened!
Please don`t misunderstand me - I`m not saying that we need to be content with joblessness, failure in getting into good educational institution etc; all that I`m saying is that never give up :D. Let not your past failures hamper your path to destiny i,e your path to accomplish that thing for what you have been called!
Also most often I have observed that I`ve been disappointed over something on which I`m not really crazy about ,when my friends get it & I don`t get it! This I believe is just peer pressure! If we are really focussed on what our plan is & where we are going to, most 0f these situations where in we get disappointed, hurt & be dejected wouldn`t happen.
I know these things are easier said than done :D. I really love my Jesus who helps me in these kinds of situations. Though I crib around a lot about my lost chances & about the people responsible for it, at the end of the day I know what I`m doing is wrong - God`s word(Bible) convicts mate :) - God is still working in me; I shall overcome these bad attitudes :).
I know one thing - His (God`s) thoughts are higher than my thoughts & His plans are higher than mine! He has a definite plan & a purpose for me & also for you. I pray that I`ll walk a walk to fulfill his plan in my life, for the best thing that could ever happen to your/my life is to be found in the center of God`s will!
