Grasshopper!! Grasshopper!!!

"...We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them." - Numbers 13.

Do you think, you are like a Grasshopper? Do you think you cannot beat the Giants & get into the promised land?

Joshua & Caleb thought the other way - ...The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. 8 If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them."

Their message was simple -
1.The Land is good.
2. ...do not be afraid of the people of the land.
3. We will swallow them up.
4. The Lord is with us.

Give your best, swallow them up, do not be afraid!! But make sure that the LORD is with you :-)

The same guys who thought they were Grasshoppers murmured saying, "Why has the Lord brought us out of Egypt. Is to be killed by the Giants of this Land?"
God said, "Ok cool! - so be it!"
God was indeed upset! He let know his displeasure to Moses! He said,"...know what it is like to have me against you.'" - hmmm, that's scary!!
But when Moses pleaded for them, God did forgive them!! - awesome Isn't it?

When Moses reported this to all the Israelites, they mourned bitterly. Early the next morning they went up toward the high hill country. "We have sinned," they said. "We will go up to the place the LORD promised."

Now Moses said,"Guys, why are you again disobeying the LORD's command? Do not go up, because the LORD is not with you..." They did go up and really were beaten down all the way!

So Moral of the story is ... uff I'm feeling sleepy! Good night!
